What your people see
Your branded app store, at /w/your-slug or your own web address, shows your logo, your brand colour and the apps and websites you list. People search, then tap Get App (or Install when app detail pages are on). Private apps install on enrolled company iPhones and iPads; the person may be asked to accept.
Each app shows its icon, name, version and how it is delivered, for example Apple Business.
Your branded app store comes with Distribution and with the 14-day trial.
Set it up
Add your branding
Open Settings → Workspace. Enter your Display name, choose a Brand colour and choose Save branding settings. Then choose your logo (PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF; a square image works well) and choose Upload logo. Your app store shows the change straight away.
Choose who can open it
With Public branded page on, anyone with the link can open it; with it off, the page does not open. Turn on Employee list only so that the catalogue shows only after someone enters an email on your employee list. Then choose Save branding settings.
Use your own web address (optional)
Under Settings → Workspace → Custom domain, give your app store your own web address instead of /w/your-slug.
Share the address
Copy it from Branded page → Copy URL in the sidebar, or from Settings → Workspace, and share it by email, chat or your intranet.
Questions
- Can it run on our own web address?
- Yes. Add a custom domain in Settings → Workspace, and your app store uses it instead of /w/your-slug.
- Who can see our apps?
- With Employee list only on, the catalogue shows only after someone enters an email on your employee list. Otherwise anyone with the link can open it.
- Can people add the app store to their Home Screen?
- Yes. On iPhone the page shows the Safari steps (Share, then Add to Home Screen); in Chrome or Edge it offers Install now.
